Many enter the Church by way of Private Preparation by a priest (no “classes”) 👍

It’s optional for the priest. Ask the priest if he is willing to do it. (He can refuse. Many do, because their experience of private students has been negative - people not showing up, not doing their homework, and not participating in the life of the parish.)

If he is, then be very, very kind to the next person who wants this option, by showing up for the meetings, completing all of the homework, as assigned, coming to Mass at least every Sunday during the preparation period, and participating in parish events as much as possible.

That would seem to be a whole lot more effective. I will certainly look into it. Thanks
