I asked my 4 y/o this morning what he thought the next pope would be named. I told him some likely names, such as Paul, John, Leo, and Gregory. I expected him to choose Gregory, because that is his name. Instead, he said “Pope George Washington!” Then he changed it to “Pope Caillou.” I suppose there is an outside chance for the latter if Cardinal Ouellet is elected 😛

Ah, you need to give him a hug for me.

What a cute child!..lol…

:rotfl:I love it. Pope Caillou! My son would love it too! My son might like Pope Pocoyo as well.

I always wanted to know what Caillou translated to. I thought, perhaps it was the French version of the Italian Calogero. So I looked it up, Caillou means “little rock, or little stone”.

I don’t know if there is a St. Caillou…I doubt it. :o (If there were a St. Caillou, he could be patron St. of the whiny children ;))

Oh, if that’s what Caillou means, that’s a big no-no. That’s basically Petrus Romanus.
