Greetings! I am creating this forum as a roadmap to keep myself on track with completing the entire 54 day rosary novena. I’ve never done it successfully before, (last time I made it to day 16), so I wanted to try a couple things differently in my approach. I saw someone else post in a forum each day they prayed and I thought it was a good idea which I am going to do this time. Any tips, support, prayers, or words of encouragement are always greatly appreciated and I thank you all in advance!! Even if no one reads this, I thank You God for this opportunity to keep myself on track. God bless you all!

Good luck! Feel free to post your progress here. If you don’t finish again, try getting in on the next 54 day novena organized by United States Grace Force - they have a Facebook, a webpage, daily reflections for the 54 days, and usually have 2 or 3 54-day novenas each year. I often get behind on them with the group but usually manage to catch up by the end or within a few days after.

Day 1 complete! Thanks I’d never heard of them, but will definitely look into that for future novenas. Another thing I’m committing to is praying almost first thing in the morning so I’m less tempted with giving up and sleeping and the pressure of doing it won’t be on my mind throughout the day. Maybe it will even make each day better from the start :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hello! That is awesome that you’re doing the 54 day rosary novena. I’m on day 14, and I think the biggest tip I can offer is to not give up. I’ve been sick for the past week and my rosaries haven’t been perfect, they’ve been broken up into bits, and I’ve fallen asleep during them a few times now; but, don’t give up! Keep going and pray your rosaries even if they aren’t perfect, and sweet Mother Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary, will hear you. You got this!

I will finish mine this Sunday and will start one for my wife on the 21st.

Try not to leave it for very late in the evening, maybe have a picture of the rosary on your phone’s screen? I do this with a prayer if I am praying a nine hour novena.

Yes, I usually make it a priority to finish the decade and remember which decade it was or write it down before I fall asleep. I think it should be easier once I get to stop taking the medications.

Day 2 complete! I know what you mean by imperfect rosaries. My mind is at least 2 places at any given moment and it often doesn’t include where I am physically. I think it’s a miracle I’ve managed to do this well in school. But however fleeting my mind might be, sweet Mother Mary (I like how that sounds) Queen of the Holy Rosary will hear me!

I have done this novena twice. If you can’t find a solid 20 minute block of time in your day to say it, break it into decades. A decade only takes a few minutes. I attribute this novena for instilling in me a desire to pray the rosary almost every day, even though my intention hasn’t been answered yet. Pray for the strength yo he successful. Good luck and God bless!

Day 4 complete. Wow 20 minutes! I take at least 40 and up to an hour. Maybe I pray slowly, but too fast and I feel like I’m not appreciating or absorbing the entirety of this wonderful gift. It used to hurt and make me sweat when I would do it kneeling without leaning on anything, but that put more pressure on me so I finally found a private place with high enough support for me to pray comfortably. But thank you for your advice! I will pray for the strength to succeed and that your intentions are answered soon.

I’ll say a prayer that you make it through the entire 54 days. God Bless

Day 10 ✔️. I finished hours ago, but today has been hectic. Thank you immensely for your support
