**My Adopted Children
**
More unwanted children have died than earth’s population,
Unloved by parents, sometimes even unknown in creation,
Cruelly denied the full experience of a complete human life,
Knowing just their humanly formation and lots of tragic strife.
Feeling deeply sad for these poor children hurt so tragically,
I turn to my Lord Jesus and offer to share all my entirety,
To spirituality adopt each and every one, give them my love,
And share all my thoughts, feelings and acts with those above.
And my dear Lord Jesus said YES for I love them most dearly,
I will let them share all of your life and experience humanity.
They will be your children in love with many others as well,
Growing with you forever until in heaven you come to dwell.
How this sharing with all my children works, I do not know;
I just give it all to Jesus in love and He runs the entire show.
I do not know which children get of what is shared by each of us,
I just surrender it all totally in love and trust in my Lord Jesus.
So now everything I think, feel, and do, many billions do too,
Each sharing and experiencing humanity almost living anew,
My virtues, my flaws, my frequent joys, my every suffering,
Even when I am sinful in any way and when I am most loving.
And I ask all others to prayerfully consider doing the same,
To love these dear deprived children and honor God’s name,
By spiritually adopting some or all of these little dear ones,
By sharing one’s life totally with adopted daughters and sons.
