I just wanted to post this thread and apologize to one of our gracious Jehovah Witnesses’ who had the courage to post responses on this Forum (“I think the JW’s are the “most right” religion out there” thread - and to whose call name I will withhold out of respect for her) for quite rudely and unnecessarily lashing out at her. Please accept my apology.
Please also forgive my stupidity and ignorance and for not being a good Catholic. Being new to the faith myself, I still am very weak in the virtues of prudence and patience when I feel the temptation to anger rear it’s ugly head. After becoming Catholic and learning more and more how to be a good Christian, I am finding more faults about myself; and I owe thanks to this Holy Church for bringing to the surface (through it’s teachings) these horrible faults within me, which previously before becoming Catholic, I believed to be simply self-righteousness. Can you imagine what I must have been like before becoming Catholic? What a nighmare of a person I was to people! One thing I do feel confident about is that even if I never learn you have accepted or refused my apology, I can still go to the priest at my parish and ask forgiveness (for this continous fault) in the Sacrament of confession. There I know God will forgive me (again and again) my faults and sins, and slowly, with His grace, I can grow stronger in the graces and virtues needed to treat people with much due respect. I only hope that you do see this thread and accept my apology because it is sincerely intended.
Anyway, dear JW, please stick around our Forum and continue to post your responses. They are really appreciated by everyone! We really do want to learn from you and would also want to help you learn about Catholicism!
God Bless and take care,
CindyGia
