My wife is getting ready to start her internship as a Ultrasound Tech, and the majority of her clients are pregnant women. And she talks about how well formed the babies are even in the earliest stages of pregnancy. I think our modern secular society paints an image of a baby in an early pregnancy as being some kind of a formless blob, which makes it easier to chose an abortion in many people’s minds. If everyone saw an ultrsound picture of their baby before choosing the abortion, maybe a few more would choose another option.

Michael,

I like it…I also have your CD on the Book of Revelation…it’s awesome.

hello all.
first of all i would like to say that im am a 20 year old athiest. i was brought up a jehovas wittnes and have since turned away from it. i do have a very important point to make. to some ppl abortion is ok. Have they just had their baby murdered for no reason? i doubt very much.
basically i was with my girlfriend of 5 months and things were great. we decided to have a child together and how happy i was when she fell pregnant. short lived happiness. all of a sudden she doesnt want our child anymore and spits up with me and leaves me with nothing. today i recieved a phonecall from her teling me its done. my childs gone. for the last 2 weeks i have held onto the hope that she will change her mind but no. she has no remorse or sympathy whatsoever about it and i am left distroat and friendless as i have had to move 2 my dads. what i dont understand is how all the arguements for and against are all to do with the women or morals. what about men like me who wanted that child. the fact that we cant even fight for our own kids lives is disgusting. to be honest i dont even find it an arguement. its pathetic people getting away with murder versus people that are right. there is no inbetween. whatever your circumstances are. you still dont have the right to deny the human being growing inside you a life.

sorry if ther is any spelling mistakes. im finding it hard

This is another one of the tragedies of abortion, when the father of the baby has no say in what happens to the child. I am really sorry to hear about your situation, I’ll pray for you, that your girlfriend will change her mind and let you be a part of the decision, and that she won’t choose the abortion option.

I’m sorry you find yourself in this situation, and will pray for you.

Its the worst thing that can happen to a parent. Loosing a child is not the natural law of things. Born or unborn it make no difference. I really don’t know what to tell you except be very careful next time. Marriage has some advantages. If you were married you would have had some secular legal help. This women will feel her guilt and she will of course have to answer for it. As far as You are concern be very aware of what you are getting into the next time. You should talk with a member of the clergy. Being a former JW you should pray about it and ask God to ease your sorrow and help you become the Christian man that he wants you to be. Only he can heal your heartache.

Tino, I am also very sorry, and will pray for you.

I wish I could tell the story of my youngest child, (who has mild autism but is more and more indistinguishable from her peers every day) and how difficult it was for me. I made the choice to embrace this “unplanned” and diffcult pregnancy, and my deep love for my child, who was disabled, has literally transformed my heart. The love she has brought to our family cannot be expressed. God has brought so much good into the world through her.

tino,

Your righteous grief is palpable. I will pray for you.

mpsbarber - He’s ADORABLE!!!😃
tino - my heart aches for you. I am SO very sorry for your loss. And I am sorry for your girlfriend, too. Once she realizes the consequences of her actions, she will be grieved. The kid would have grown up and moved out. Grief like that sticks to a person. Like tar.
There’s a woman I met at 40 days for life. She prays in front of the abortion mill about once a week. She aborted her baby about 30 years ago now. It was because she had a career she was trying to protect, and a boyfriend she didn’t want to cheese off.
Boyfriend is LONG gone. She eventually married, and had three children.
Job’s long gone. She moved on to other places, and is now retired anyway.
She said to me ‘But I’m still here. The grief is still here. All of the things I aborted my baby for, they’re long gone. But, the pain, I get to keep that forever.’
😦
