Could I ask for some prayers? My grandma called me earlier today to tell me my great aunt (my grandpa’s sister) fell and fractured her hip yesterday. She was taken to the hospital for surgery and died and was brought back to life. She was in a comma I guess for a few hrs and passed away maybe about 1 hr ago.

My grandpa’s devastated. His brother committed suicide last yr in April, and now his sister dies… he’s not doing good 😦

Please pray for my aunt Raquel’s soul and for our family.

Yessisan…both your great aunt and your great uncle are in my Liturgy of the Hours evening prayers…which means that they are included in the Universal Church’s (The Body of Christ’s) Evening Prayers with the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI and the bishops…and through Our Lord Jesus…to the Our Father in Heaven. In a very special way, your grandpa and your family will also be remembered to ask for strength and consolation for your grieving hearts.

Praying for the repose of the soul of your Aunt and prayers for you and your family during this time.

Jesus, Yessisan has suffered so many losses of loved ones, including the truly sad losses of Julian and Monica.
The family has also lost her great Uncle in painful circumstance, and are now enduring yet another shock loss.

Jesus please have compassion on this family that suffers so much bereavement. Please replace death with flourishing life and joy. Please help her grandfather to cope with his losses, and let the love of his remaining family warm him.

St Elizabeth and Sarah please pray for Yessisan that she also will receive miracles of life.

I’m so sorry.

Eternal rest grant unto Raquel, O Lord. And may Your Perpetual Light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.

Amen.

Praying…

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
