My baby's surgery tomorrow

My daughter is have a fairly serious surgery tomorrow to repair a tethered spinal cord. She was born with the condition and originally, the doctors had said she would have the procedure around 12 months. However, due to the fact that she is already crawling well and begining to pull herself up to standing, and she has grown enough that they can see her cord clearly on the MRI, they decided to have it at 9 months. I’m really nervous as it’s a two-hour procedure and does carry some considerable risks. Please pray that it will all go smoothly and my daughter will recover and be back to her own self soon!
 
Holy Michael the Archangel defend us in the day of battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Power of God,
thrust down to hell satan and all the wicked spirits,
who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession and was left forsaken. Mother Mary,Please keep Allegra’s sweet baby under your protection,pray for her that her surgery will be successful and free of complications and a full and speedy recovery.

We certainly will pray! I will light a 7 day candle in the chapel right now!!!

It’s at 7AM, so…I understand if you choose to pray the night before or somthing. 😉

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Allegra’s daughter. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Allegra’s daughter’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

O Holy Priest of God and glorious Patriarch, St. Dominic, thou who wast the friend, the well-beloved son and confidant of the Queen of Heaven, and didst work so many miracles by the power of the Holy Rosary, have regard for my intercessions. On earth you opened your heart to the miseries of your fellow man, and your hands were strong to help them; now in heaven your charity has not grown less nor has your power waned.
Pray for me to the Mother of the Rosary and to her divine Son, for I have great confidence that through your assistance I shall obtain the favor I so much desire: a successful & smooth surgery & recovery for Allegra’s daughter Amen.
