Dear Brothers & Sisters,

I used to use this site a lot but you know how life can be and well I haven’t been on here in several months- I hope to come more often now and want to start with sharing my beautiful little Shrine/Home Altar.

It is very special to me- I am very devoted to Our Lady & the Saints, my favourite Saints & Devotions are displayed here and are all very dear to me. I do understand that I do not “need” these things but they aid me in my Private Devotions and Spiritual life but I wanted to share them with my Brothers and Sisters here. I have shown you before but I have recently spruced it up and rearranged it all- I also have added a number of images since then.

I do have images & statues all around the House but this is my little Shrine as I like to call it. It has been Blessed by my Priest and the Blessed Sacrament has visited here and been placed on my Altar. It is very special & dear to me.

I am intending to enter a Religious Order and if it be God’s almighty will become a Religious Brother and then eventually a Priest, I will not be able to have all these things but my family will take care and cherish them.

Please pray for me.

The Sacred Heart came from my Parish a number of years ago and was donated for a sale, I bought it for only a few pounds. I imagine it is very old and was probably pride of place in some Irish home.
 
I have that exact same Sacred Heart picture. It belonged to my Irish Grandmother. 🙂
 
Beautiful statues and pictures! Your little shrine/ altar is lovely! I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to keep it even if you do become a priest:)You could certainly have that set up in your rectory or wherever you’re able to live. I kind of have a little shrine too, but not like yours. On my nightstand table I have an Immaculate Heart of Mary statue, a rosary, little prayer/ devotional books, and hanging on the wall just behind it all a ceramic cross with a verse on it. Also, a picture of the Coronation Mary.
 
Thank you for sharing. What a beautiful shrine. I have a number of pictures, statues and crucifixes around my home and hope to create a shrine and small prayer garden. This is lovely and I am sure it provides you with great inspiration as you discern a vocation. Bless you on your journey

Awesome! I don’t have enough room for a shrine so it’s pictures on the wall and little reminders around my apartment. Love it though! 🙂
