It’s time! Tomorrow is my first Reconciliation (I’ve done my examination of conscience and I’m going from excited to nervous about it). Saturday my husband and I are getting co-validation blessing… and Sunday, Christ the King… Confirmation!
What a way to head into the Jubilee year!

Congratulations! I was received this previous weekend so its great to hear about two more converts. Hope it all goes well for both of you.

Congratulation for the convalidation of your marriage, and for your return to the Sacraments!
God bless you and your family!

Welcome Home!!
Praying that God will CONTINUE to lead
you on the Path of Righteousness!!

Our Father, who is in heaven,
Your name be held holy,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as
we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

So how did it go?
Reconciliation was easier than I thought it would be. The person before me had left the screen open in the confessional and I talked to the priest face to face. I’m glad I did, as I could watch his face and he was so kind and understanding about everything I said. I feel like I had been broken and I’m put back together now. The test is getting through the next few days until confirmation.

Hey I’m glad to hear that! 👍

Well done, that’s the hard part over. Don’t be afraid though to ask your priest before your confirmation Mass to do a quick confession if you do happen to slip up in the meantime. You’ll want to be spotless when you are confirmed. (That is what I did. :))

Co-validated and rehearsed. Tomorrow I’ll be confirmed and take the Eucharist for the first time!
