I’ve been working on this 3 wise men thing for the 2 bedroom windows on the second floor. I’ve never done this before and had to wait until it was dark to check out the wise men. I’m so excited!!! What do you think? It’s glowing for the neighbors to see. My version of Christmas lights.

WOW! That’s incredible! How cool! 👍

I love it! Having lived many years in apartments I did little Christmas decorating. I have always wondered how to decorate in a manner that reflected the Christian meaning of Christmas, over the more secular trends. This has become more urgent to me because of all the bans on displaying Christian symbols everywhere.

I hope you don’t mind my sharing your design ideas with my sister. Maybe we can do something similar. I for one would like to see all Christians do something like this. I have contemplated creating my own “Advent” decorations that can be viewed by our neighbors.
You have set a fire under me. Thanks.

Well how awesome is that! Glory to God.
Looking forward to you posting some pics too when the project is done. 😃

Fabulous!! I’ve always wanted to be creative, but was never much good at this sort of thing, but I do put sets of lights (3 candles together) in each window which faces the street, and a single candle in the one which faces my yard from my kitchen window. My husband used to decorate a lot for Christmas – all Christian symbolisms, and a huge 12 foot star with white or blue lights on our roof every Christmas. It was lovely, and I miss it since he went home to the Lord. I think I’ll set up a bit bigger Nativity set this year, and add some soft blue and gold lights to light it up. You’ve gotten me inspired this year!!

What a great idea! It’w a wonderful gift to our neighborhood.👍

I hope more people decide to decorate more in the fashion that reveals the story of Christ coming to this world. It would be something to see house after house giving Glory to God versus Secularism. Don’t get me wrong I like thinks like Santa’s and Christmas Trees, the lights etc. But you hardly see a Manger anymore, or the Star of David or Mary with her baby Jesus. Just thinking.
