Lord please hear our continued prayers for Tony and for Bernice and all the family.We thankyou Lord that Tony is continuing to have such courage and improvement.We thankyou for granting strength to Bernice. When Tony comes home he and Bernice face a difficult future and I ask You would grant them both the graces necessary to live as independent and happy life as possible.Thankyou Lord for the wonderful example this entire family give to us all and I ask You to bless each one of them.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Prayer “Everyday I need you Lord…”

Every day I need You Lord
But this day especially,
I need some extra strength
To face what ever is to be.

This day more than any day
I need to feel You near,
To fortify my courage
And to overcome my fear.

By myself, I cannot meet
The challenge of the hour,
There are times when humans help,
But we need a higher power

To assist us bear what must be borne,

Loving God,

We lift our prayers and intentions for Tony today, and we ask for your blessings and mercy for Tony and his family during the time of great challenge in their lives. Lord, it is hard to understand why very difficult things happen to good people in this life, but we ask for your grace and trust in your divine providence as we pray and hope for the best possible outcome, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please grant Tony the gift of finding the best path forward in his life in whatever manner you desire, be it through healing or as a witness to others in his current state. Please strengthen and grant courage to Bernice and the family members as they minister to Tony and pray for him. Please help all involved to stay positive and hopeful as they continue their journeys of faith.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Thank you for your update Trishie .It is wonderful to learn how , with God’s Grace and compassionate help , both Tony and Bernice have courageously come to terms with the effects of Tony’s grievous disablement .Their faith , and indeed yours too Trishie , are a great inspiration to us all .

Heavenly Father , please help all those who are involved in treating Tony , to aid his recovery using all their skill , knowledge and dedication . Please grant that by Your Mercy and Compassion , he may recover as many of his facilities as possible .We thank You ,Lord God for the improvement in his condition and we pray that it will continue and be stabilised in rehabilitation . We thank You too Lord for giving comfort, strength and help to his wife Bernice and his family in this worrying time. Please sustain them , confident in Your love and mercy and bless them , together with our dear friend Trishie . Amen .

Lord, look upon Tony with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon him, may your life giving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul ,cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength . Amen.

Prayer for Healing

God our Father, source of all health, be near to those who suffer in the time of weakness and pain; relieve them of their burden and heal them, if it be your will. Give peaceful sleep to those who need rest for soul and body, and be with them in their hours of silence. Bless those who know not what another day will bring. Make them ready for whatever it may be: whether they must stand, or sit or be confined, grant them a strong spirit. We offer up this prayer to You today in thanksgiving and love for the blessings You have bestowed upon us so many times in our lives, especially now in these hours of need. Grant this prayer, through Christ our Lord. Amen

Thank you so much. Tony says that your prayers have helped him so much.
Bernice, with the help of your prayers, has gained the strength she has needed.
She has delighted us all with her development of confidence and strength in ensuring what is best for Tony and her future. Tony is now expected to come home from hospital in August, and will have a night carer so that Bernice has a chance to rest overnight. In that way she can stay well, in which case Tony can remain at home. They accept their new reality and do not feel sorry for themselves. Of course it will be very hard sometimes, but when we choose not to see ourselves as badly-done-by or victims, the we have much energy to live in faith, and we remain an inspiration of wholesomeness, and that’s the way these two are. As it is a grace, I know that your prayers have helped to gain and to retain this grace.

I ask You our God to give special help to each person who has prayed for Tony and Bernice and their family. Although they have never seen these tow they pray like faithful family.
I ask You our God to grant their prayers when they pray in their own personal crises and needs. Please bless them a hundredfold for their prayers for my sister and brother-in-law.
