My Cousin Stephen has just died of cancer

Please say a prayer for my cousin Stephen who was only in his fifties, he has just died of cancer. He has had a tough family life.His family are in conflict and I pray God will comfort them all and help ease their pain. He leaves children and grandchildren.

Lord, embrace with mercy and welcome, Stephen into your eternal banquet of joy. Send angels to comfort those who suffer from this loss, and draw all related souls to you now and forever. Mary, pray with us. Amen.
 
Oh Loving and Merciful Father,

We ask thee by the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ to have mercy on Stephen’s soul, and to comfort and strengthen those who grieve for him. Fill them with hope and assure them of your loving assitance.
