I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

I’m an orthodox Catholic in communion with the Bishop of Rome and in allegiance with the Magisterium. I’m not a ‘rogue Catholic’. I never called you a rogue Christian or a rogue Protestant (besides that would be an oxymoron).

Since you are the one trying to educate us poor Catholics on what the CC teaches, why don’t you search in the CCC where it instructs Catholics how we should respect our non-Christian friends? It was this out-of-contextual mentality that killed many Jews in the past.

What portions of your confession of fatih do Muslims, Hindus, Jews, Shinto, Wicka, Mormons, JW, Buddist, etc agree with?

Compare your confession with what the Apostle Paul teaches about the saving gospel.

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

BTW - to respect and love those who do not know Christ through false religions, we speak the truth in love to them so that they would come to Christ. Persucusion is promised by Jesus to those who share His dividing truth in love. Why does it appear Roman Catholicism wants to embrace the world religions?
 
By the grace of God, we can only speak the truth in love. The Catholic Church’s apparent position with Christ-less world religions go beyond what was written. Has the Catholic Church forgot the words of Jesus Christ in regards to the world?

Matthew 5:10-12
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 5:44
But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

Matthew 10:23
When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

If you really love Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddist,Shintos, Wickas, Mormons, JW’s, athesist, agnostics, and all others without Christ…you have to speak the truth in love for their absolute need for Jesus Christ.

I have no interest in your out-of-context preaching methods. Catholicism is not out to create a ‘New World Oder’ to bring all world religions and accept them as part of their faith. That is your prejudiced view. Catholicism recognizes the truths found in many world religions such as teachings in morality and ethics. They may not be similar to Christ’s teachings but they certainly do not preach devil worship. If i was a Hindu or a Muslim reading your words and if i was considering Christianity, i’d be put off by your unprofessionalism.

The Ministry of Reconciliation

As i said, i have no interest in your out-of-context preaching methods. I know my Bible as much as you do. Now quote me the verse where Jesus praised the Centurion for his faith. Hint: **“I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.” **

Please share what truths that you share with world religons that reject the biblical Jesus Christ. Do these world religions have the Spirit of Christ to discern spiritual truths?

The Centurion had faith in Jesus Christ.
 
Do you think you share the moral law (10 commandments) with world religions who reject the biblical Jesus Christ? You won’t even get past the first commandment, nor the 2nd commandment. But give it a try.

What posslble truths do you share with Christ-less world religions?

Do they have the Spirit of Christ to discern spiritual truths? Certainly. Christ loved the poor, sick and the chastised. Have you actually met any non-Christian(s) in your life? Heard of any charitable works they do that reminds you of what Christ did?

Oh my friend, don’t try to bait me as i can do just the same if i wanted to. Now, what truths do i share with non-Christian religions? They love their neighbours, they share, they care, they do charitable works, they oppose evil, they put me back in place whenever i forget about God sometimes. Of course, I’d imagine you being a saintly person never forget God.

Are you impying that you share the same God with Muslims, Jews, Hindus and other world religions without Christ? How can you even share the same definition of evil? Did you know Jesus called His disciples evil? Do you think anyone loves their neighbor as themseleves in the way that God requires? Havye you considered the biblical reasons for the 10 commandments. You might want to start with the book of Galatians.

Benedict has stated that Judaism and Islam SPECIFICALLY do worship the same god. This is the God of AbraHam. It is truly tragic that they do not worship Christ or indeed the Trinity but they do worship the same God as we.

So now go to your Bible. . . Give some quotes and whatnot.

And Cathopologist your words ring with truth.
