My Dad Has Heart Trouble

My dad is having heart trouble tonight. He has suffered from severe back pain for 13 years which, among other things, lead to a weakened heart and bypass surgery five years ago. He is the father of 12 and grandfather of 23. He has lived life as a sincere and devout Catholic and as a reward, has seen all 12 of his children grow up to be as devout and sincere as he.

Unfortunately, he is very stubborn. This afternoon and tonight, he has been having chest and arm pain but refuses to go to the hospital, even at the request of paramedics.

There are many good Christians on this site and I am confident that in asking for your prayers for my father and my family, that God, will answer them in His own way. I am not always good at praying (not sure why), so I often ask for the prayers of those who I know are my better. This is the first time I have asked for an intention so publicly, but perhaps some of you can help us tonight.

May the Lord bless and heal your father. May your father take the initiative to care for himself, so that he might be there for his loved ones. Amen. :gopray2:
