My Dad is bleeding inside his brain; effects of the bleed are unknown

My Father is bleeding inside of his brain. The situation is ongoing. This happened just a few hours ago. He was breathing but not responding. The ambulance has taken care of him. I don’t know if he will walk again. I don’t know if he will be mentally capable to do any job again. He might walk it off next month. It sounds like he will not need a machine to make sure his heart still beats after a few days. I am still not sure what will happen.

I will go get counseling.

I’m sorry for what you’re going through knowing your Dad’s mental and physical heath is so uncertain and serious.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into HumbleOughtToBe’s Father’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

A whole fraction of his brain was taken out by bleeding. The blood expands in the brain cavity that does not expand, crushing the mushy brain part. This does not get repaired. He won’t respond and is only alive due to support. He is expected to deteriorate while on life support and would still deteriorate while not on life support. He is expected to die quickly. I expect a funeral soon.

Words of advice for your life:​

Upon death, their should be a document your family pulls out, containing a password to your phone password, your laptop, and (if you have one) your password manager. It should have everything your family needs to see. The passwords must be updated else it won’t be useful.

Finger Prints:
  • Don’t make your family rely upon your bodies fingerprint to unlock a phone.
  • You can only access the phone when the body is above ground and nearby.
  • His finger started to swell and he is not yet dead. That fingerprint may not work for a long time.
  • Fingerprints as your only access mechanism mean you constantly have to wiggle the phone to make sure it does not lock if you are not nearby the body.
  • One my own phone, should the fingers fail, I made touch ID work with my little toe. It works, it is practical if I lose my fingers or they be wrapped in a cast.
  • Fingerprints mean you can’t change the password on the phone or do certain more serious things on it.
What was got:
  • His password manager and account was transferred the account over to my Mom. Long Story.
  • His photos have been recovered, in a more indirect way. Long Story.
  • A custom homemade recipe app was not recovered. It had no extract function, and no files are present when opened it up on the computer.
  • Their is much more that would take to long to explain.
