My dad will pass away very soon

Can someone please pray for him? My mother passed away last year and he never fully recovered from her loss. I am hoping God will let her come get him when he passes. I feel his passing is my fault and I can’t get over the guilt. I wish I could switch places with him.
 
Please don’t feel it’s your fault x It sounds like he loved her very much.

Dear one, you will remain in my prayers. The guilt feeling is a fairly normal part of grief. It’s not your fault, some people can’t cope well with loss and your Dad is one.

Dearest Jesus please carry this beautiful person, who has so recently lost mother and now is facing losing Dad, deep within your heart.
Please give consolation and peace to Wind’s broken heart.
 
Praying for you and your family and may God help you with your grief. I lost my parents 3 months apart so I know how difficult it is to lose your parents so close together. Praying your father passes peacefully. Praying for you to have peace.

Praying for your father for a peaceful death. Sounds like the passing of your mother was too much for him and perhaps he was weakened in some way as well. I also pray that you will find that his passing is not your fault and if you continue to feel this way you speak to a priest.

Sorry to hear about this. How difficult it must be to have two parents pass away so soon. I pray you will find strength needed to carry on without harboring guilt in your soul.

Your father is on his journey to our Lord,a journey we are all on, don’t feel guilty, if you could exchange places with your dear father,imagine the pain and anguish of a parent losing a child, try and take comfort in that it is you that is saving your father from the pains you are suffering, emotionally, physically and spiritually, Our Lord, will grant you all the grace and strength you need at this time.just talk to him and trust.
