There is not much I can say other than I am so sorry… The gratitude I feel for your friend and the soldiers that have died before him and after him, will never go away. His life was not lost in vain. God bless him, his family, and you! You will be in my prayers.

A punch in the gut. I’m so sorry.

We pray for the souls of our dearly departed, for the mercy of God.

Throught Jesus Christ, Amen.

I just received some tragic news. My dear friend and classmate from the Citadel, Lt. Dan Malcom (USMC) was KIA today in Iraq…helping stamp out terrorism and make Iraq and free and prosperous society for the Iraqi people. Dan was a wonderful guy. We was very likeable, and I don’t think you could find one person to say anything negative about him. All he ever wanted to be was an Infantry Officer in the Marines. The world is truly a lesser place without him. He will be sorely missed. Dan did not die in vain though. Dan believed in what we were doing in Iraq, and if I know Dan, he would gladly pay the ultimate sacrafice again if necessary. We should all be thankful for his sacrafice and the sacrafices of others as we sit secure and free at home. He was a great soldier and he loved this country with all his heart. Now it is time for his fellow Devil Dogs to finish the job they started. Please keep my dear friend, his family, his classmates and friends, and his fellow soldiers in your prayers. God Bless you Dan…we love and we will never forget.
I am so sorry for your loss. I will pray for Dan and his family, and of course you.
Please remember a co-workers son who was killed on Nov. 9 in Iraq, Russell Slay, this was his 2nd tour and he was very proud of serving his country. He leaves two children along with many family.
May God, the Father comfort you, Jesus the Son stand beside you and the Holy Spirit hold you in the palm of his hand.

I will pray for Russell and his family as well. Let us know regarding a fund for him as well - I know it’s small consolation to losing a hero, a husband, and a father, but I believe we have to support these families as much as we can - thanks and God bless.

INCLINE Thine ear, O Lord, unto our prayers, wherein we humbly pray Thee to show Thy mercy upon the soul of Thy servant Lt. Dan Malcom, whom Thou hast commanded to pass out of this world, that Thou wouldst place him in the region of peace and light, and bid him be a partaker with Thy Saints. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

The price of freedom will always be the lives of our heroes. God Bless Dan! He is one of our heroes. He will always be remembered.

Scott

Thanks for the link…and God Bless your friends son. Tell him my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Without these heroes…we would not be here able to sit securely typing and enjoying our lives…we must never forget their sacrafices.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Lord Jesus, open your arms and welcome Dan into your Kingdom. Give his family the comfort and strength they need to get through this difficult time. Amen and Amen

May his soul and all souls of God’s Loving Mercy ever rest in His Peace and may The Lord comfort and console all family and friends and those who grieve everywhere…

Heartfelt prayers for the brave Dan Malcom. May he rest in peace and may God comfort his loved ones! He did not die in vain; sometimes you just have to fight for freedom!
