I would like to share this with you all. I hope this is the right sub-forum to do so. My grandfather died on March 29th, 2016. The week that he died my grandmother & I went into his bedroom and prayed a Divine Mercy Chaplet for him. He was on hospice and in & out of lucidness. As soon as I said the Sign of the Cross when we were finished he looked around with amazement and said “Look at all the pretty flowers everywhere!” and his eyes were scanning all over the room. Prior to this he had said things that didn’t make sense, but this was the first time he ever said anything about flowers. I really hope that praying the chaplet effected the spiritual realm and he saw graces in the form of flowers. I wanted to share as this has been a source of encouragement for me. I used to bring him the Eucharist every week and I miss him very much.

How beautiful!

Well, I know they say the rosary is a crown of roses. I wonder if it’s similar for the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Me too. Saints say when you are saying a Hail Mary you are sending a beautiful rose to Heaven. So a Whole Rosary will be like sending a bouquet of roses or even a garden of roses to Heaven.

I hope I can also see what kind of things we are sending to Heaven every time we se say a Divine Mercy Chaplet

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
