Im not planing to be a priest, nor a theologist, but like G.K. Chesterson I use it to support and understand my faith, heres some of my random views

on evil in the world: “God is the driving force in all those who use their free will to do good, even those who don’t believe in him, that why I believe in Purgatory, God finds the good in man one way or another, the problem is when we get the opportunity, some of us just decide to do nothing, the worst habit of the human race”

Halloween: “If demons can disguise themselves as beautiful and perfect things, then can’t angels disguise themselves as crazy and wacky creatures?”

On organized religion: “yes if you want to be technical, but really there is no such thing, even in an organized form each individual has a unique view on their belief, we don’t just smile and nod, in fact Jesus told us to avoid such things”

Mary: “So birth to Jesus and thats it? Then God would have chosen anybody, I think he chose her because so many reasons, God does not ‘use’ people, she can be the Mother of God without being higher than him, after all Jesus said such things a possible with God.”

Afterlife: “Yes I belief there is life after death. Why? Its something you must feel in your heart, weather be in memories, figures of speech, expressions, the afterlife, heaven, hell, all of it exist in some shape or form, therefore it must exist. does this make life less worth living? Absolutely not.”

on the arts such as movies and books: “having the ability to imagine worlds, characters, and in a way breathe life into them. God gave us that ability in order to feel what it is like to be in his shoes, how its like to be him and how difficult things can really be for him.”

Magic: “Magic in the bible is nothing like this silly things in anime, cartoons, and tv shows, the magic in the bible is what we see in magic used by the bad guys: it backfires, drains you of your humanity, and brings pain and suffering in the end.”

I recommend that you not think about these matters at all,
but just go to Sunday Mass and obey the commandments.

Trust in God. He’s a pretty good guy. 😃

Oh I do, but I think its nice to remind myself now and then about it

It is nice that you would take the time to share with us all of your personal, private beliefs. As Catholic Christians we must listen to God’s Word which says “Lean not on thine own understanding”. We must lean on the Word of God, who is the Son of God and the Lamb of God, and on the Church’s Magesterium who are the successors of the Apostles.

I can relate to some of the things you listed, I believe the angels COULD manifest themselves as whatever form they wanted, but Ive never heard of a case where this has happened, yet demons get alot of credit for appearing to people as everything from a black shadow to a 9ft tall werewolf!! I cant think of an occasion when an angel of God would have to choose a form in which to manifest though. Most times people see angels, they see them as bright white lights or white orbs.

I think God intended man to have a relationship with him with or without belonging to an organized religion. in fact I think this is one secret the vatican knows about, but keeps secret for obvious reasons, if people did not need the church in order to have a personal relationship with God, then suddenly the entire church seems irrelevant, and may lead to a big drop in members. I can remember this being addressed once by someone at the vatican, but cannot recall who or the other details, but I do remember him saying the vatican does have documents revealing this truth, and the church did not want the public to know this.

We already know the vatican keeps alot of secrets in its ancient documents and archives, so its not too much of a stretch to think they are keeping this secret. I often wonder what some of the other secrets are.

Mikekle, what are you talking about? The Church is the body of Christ!!! Christ is the head of the Church!!! How could you say the Church isn’t necessary? It is a ridiculous statement mired in a fundamental misunderstanding of what the Church represents.

If you are inspired by GK Chesterton maybe apologetics would be a great place

Im trying to say Angels and Demons can take on forms of what we least expect
