Thank you Kevin… for the wonderful testimonial and these words…
Speaking of the Blessed Mother, she and the little flower are a team that will take you to the heights of holiness.
God Bless,
Kevin
I will pray to St Theresa for all the intentions mentioned here.

I pray to her every day. I say 24 ‘‘Glory Be to the Father’’ to honor the 24 years of her short life and to thank God for her intercessions.

Isn’t St. Therese amazing??? I fell in love with her story from the first day I read about her four years ago. After four years of never receiving an obvious physical rose from her (I tend to be very skeptical about things like that, and there was never anything that really made me think it was actually her instead of coincidences), I finally received one over Labor Day weekend. She is incredible!

I wasn’t expecting to recieve anything, but was pretty surprised at what actually happened. In praying this novena for out friends here it doesn’t really matter to me whether there are any physical signs or not. She’s a very powerfull intercessor, and that’s why I’m praying for her intercession.
God Bless,

Wow! Thanks for sharing your story!

My sister’s only daughter (my only niece as well) was killed last year on Oct. 1st. It wasn’t until later that I realized that it was also St. Therese’s feast day. My niece had a special love for flowers, so for her to leave us on the feast day of The Little Flower was touching. I mentioned it to my sister, who isn’t Catholic btw, and even she thought that was pretty special. (I like to think St. Therese welcomed Danielle and her friend Drea with lots of love and flowers.)

I prayed to St. Therese for help overcoming impure temptations after reading alot about her life. I then began to try to follow her example of offering up sufferings to Christ.

Later that day, I was illuminated with the idea to offer up my temptations as a sacrifice in additon to my sufferings. Tempatations are actually the worse kind sufferings since they take us away from God.

Shortly after this I was tempted and I immediately offered it up, it went away. And about a minute later an aroma of roses briefly surrounded me as I walked down the street.

Now everytime I am tempted I immediatley offer it up and it goes away. Now I have much fewer temptations.

today is the last day of my novena to St. Therese. i’ve been praying so hard to be reconciled with somebody who hurt me badly.

since i started praying, St. Therese was mentioned in last Sunday’s homily, i found a holy card and a St. Therese chaplet in a drawer of my mother’s, and roses have bloomed on our rose bush (granted we did have some nice weather recently…but it is October in MI, so i took it as a sign.) i unknowingly started the novena on the 3rd, which I read is her former feast day.

then this morning i saw this thread.

if everybody could add my intention to be prayed for, i’d greatly appreciated it.

-for K, so that he’ll talk to me again and we can be reconciled.

thanks so much.

Consider it done February. I’m on the 4th day of the novena for everyone’s intentions. I’m sure she’s more than capable of applying the entire novena for you.
God bless you february,
Kevin

Beginning my novena today for all the intentions Kevin has so graciously listed for us. It’s cold here but my roses are all blooming like crazy. I’m going to bring the most beautiful one in and place it in my prayer corner for the duration of this novena in honor of St. Therese. God bless you all and I thank Him for her influence in our lives.

Can you add me to that list. I just started the Novena on Sunday to save my bil & sil’s marriage, sil’s mother’s marriage, and the conversion of all four of them. They are all in deep trouble marriage-wise and spiritual-wise. 😦

Thank you for including my wife Karol in you intentions.

Just finished watching a program on the Little Flower on EWTN.

Fasinating.

Continuing my Novena for my lovely wife and Gods own child.
She woke up fresh, alert and bright as a penny.
May God continue her Healing for His Glory and the Winning of Souls.

These are all an ongoing part of the Rosary for me. Still praying for her James.

hi all,

just wanted to share this. i finished my personal novena yesterday. my mother passed away in january; her email account is still in existence…i use it as a personal way to talk to her sometimes, and i also clean out her inbox.

at any rate, i just checked her mail and in it was a message from Fr. Bob at the Little Flower society. it talked about the mass said on St. Therese’s feast day, and offered for purchase pink roses blessed at the mass.

maybe not the way i intended to receive a rose, but i bought one. my mom’s favorite flower was a pink rose. i took it as a sign, esp since the message was sent to her email account.

please keep praying for my intention, that K and i will be reconciled. small glimmer of hope today.

I am sorry that your mom passed away. She is in my prayer and I have prayed for your intention. God bless.

Okay, about a month ago I stumbled on this thread and decided to do an experiment. I prayed to St. Therese and asked her for one of her famous signature signs, thinking it would be quite a feat, but in the back of my mind knowing it would happen.

Well, don’t you know I have but one rosebush that, well, I thought it was dead because it didn’t bloom this summer. Don’t you know that, in this November chill, a single rose bud popped out of the blue, and is now beginning to bloom? How’s that for a signal grace? 😃

And, Cranster, my roses are still blooming in 30-40 degree weather - I bought her autobiography yesterday. What a wonderful saint and thank you for your prayers. Sandra
