Living your faith is a lot more than just seeing somebody swan around on the altar like a Hollywood version of a Catholic Mass though.

I just had to write how splendid this phrase is. I wish I’d had it when I was still lecturing, before I retired. I will have to find a way to work it in to conferences on the liturgy that I still have invitations to speak at. “Swan around on the altar like a Hollywood version of a Catholic Mass.”

You are correct, EC priests meet with potential converts one on one. Afterwards, we meet with the deacon for classes to further our knowledge of the Eastern Catholic faith.
