Hello Friends,

I could just use a few prayers to steady my nerves and get me through my first confession tomorrow. Thank you so much.

God bless you all!

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Mid-morning reading (Terce) Wisdom 11:23 - 24 ©

Lord, you are merciful to all, because you can do all things and overlook men’s sins so that they can repent. Yes, you love all that exists, you hold in abhorrence nothing of what you have made.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

May The Holy Spirit be with you all the way and always…Keeping you in prayer…God Bless you…Barb

God, walk with PenitentConvert, today and always. Comfort your child with the warmth of your eternal love. Let PenitentConvert feel your presence, your love, and your strength, so that he/she may place all worries and fears faithfully in your arms Lord, putting all trust you, and your divine will for us.
Amen.

Prayers are on the way.

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Blessed Lord, Creator of our hearts, You alone knew us before we were knitted together in our mother’s womb. We pray for the spiritual strength that will lead PenitentConvert into a heartfelt and contrite confession of all that You already know; that the priest who sits in persona Christi will exactly represent Christ’s love and mercy. May the crushing burden of sin be lifted as was the cross from Jesus’ back when Simon carried it for him along the via dolorosa. Lord, we also journey along this path of sorrow, recalling Your great love for us - not in Jesus’ three falls, but in each time he struggled to rise again from the earth as He strove to pay the price of our sins. Lord, have mercy! Christ, have mercy! Lord, have mercy!

Amen! Alleluia!

I will pray for you. May you find great joy and new life in God’s forgiveness.
