I’ve not been a regular mass goer by any means. In fact, maybe once or twice a year at most. In fact you could hardly call me a practicing catholic at all
But tonight, I attended my first mass in the extrodinary form. Is this what’s referred to as the traditonal latin mass?
Either way, it was the most beautiful mass Ive been to - possibly ever. I had what is to me at least, a truely humbling and spiritual experience.
It was a sung high mass - the rites and the beauty of the celebration where truely mindblowing to me.
I left mass, feeling on a real high, feeling I had really been part of a spiritual reflection and celebration.
I found out the church I attended, as of today, will be celebrating the traditional latin mass every sunday at 6.30pm.
I shall be there
