Praise God! One more Traditionalist!! Long live the Tridentine rite!! 😃

Thank you for illustrating the problem that any discussion of the Tridentine (if you’re going to tout it, at least learn how to spell it) mass inevitably has.

Not all admirers of the TLM are Traditionalists, with all the baggage that accompanies the term.

The Tridentine Mass…oh how I love it…to me it is the most beautiful thing in the world…I am so very fortunate to be able to experience it every Sunday.

Trelow, I am so glad you finally made it to one and I hope you continue to go…I have been going for a while…you will be lost for a little while, but don’t worry…just purchase a Missal or use one of the Missals they hand out before Mass and very soon you will know exactly what is going on.

Let me ask you a question…were your knees a little sore when you left…there is considerably more kneeling at the TLM.

Well poop fire! I’m terribly sorry I failed to spell it correctly.

There are whackos on both sides, liturgical dancing “Mother God” moral relativists and rad-trad sedevacantists. Both are equaly in error, although I can sympathise more with the latter…

They have it every Sunday, but I’m not driving all the way down there to do it. I’ll settle for once a month, for now.

Man, I understand that it’s not for everybody, but whoo-doggy, that is praying the mass.

Nah, I do my rosary on my knees so I’m used to it. And with two kids and a dog, I’m down there alot anyways.

Dr. Bombay:
Our Lady of Sorrows is a gorgeous church. But I demand equal time! There’s a TLM in the *other *Kansas City too:

St. Philippine Duchesne Community

Everything’s up to date in Kansas City. 😃
Aye, we went to Our Lady of Sorrows because they are in our diocese (KC/StJoe). I would love to check Blessed Sacrament as well. I may hit them up for a daily, I currently go to Our Lady of Prepetual Help (Redemptorist) for dailys because of the time, and there is always parking. She’s pretty too.

I’m trying to get the whole KC tour done. 😃

Will you be praticipating in the Eucharistic procession on the 29th?

Oh and grats on Archbishop Naumann. 👍 Good guy.

Ahhhh…Redemptorist…she’s a beauty alright! 🙂 I’m considering the procession. Our Lady of Good Counsel in Westport, where it ends, is another good one too.

Can’t wait til Bishop Finn takes over in KC/St. Joe. I’ve heard rumblings that some of the more “progressive” elements already have their knickers in a knot over him. :clapping:

Oremus.

Podo, either say something constructive or don’t say anything at all. Remarks such as yours are exactly what ruins discussions around here, and I think you know that.

Oh yea. I love him. Our parish had Confirmation at St. Gabriel’s, and he did it. Needless to say a few weeks later our preist was talkign about how the diocese was going to start cracking down. No more glass chalices, no more pop songs. muahahahah! It was great, our parish was all smiles.

Thank you for adding precisely nothing to this thread.

Hooray! Glad to hear it. I’ll be happy if he can just get Fr. McBrien out of the diocesan newspaper. The music situation, as in most dioceses, will be quite a task to correct. But I’d rather burn a couple thousand copies of Glory and Praise than curse the darkness. 😃

I’m hopeful.

I almost cried during that mass it made me sick. They had one girl about 15 or so in black strech pants with a hot pint halter top and big hot pink belt, beltin out the Psalms in motown. Bishiop Finn was just glaring at the priest in charge the whole time.

Hmm. If I did in fact say “nothing”, then why the bitter response? Hmmm.

My point is clear. One ought to be able to attend an indult TLM… perhaps, even enjoy it… without having the Traditionalist label slapped on them (with all that it represents).

Or would you propose to offer the TLM for Traditionalists only?

I can feel your excitement and I am so envious! I have never been to a Tridentine mass. I am so glad for you! Please keep us all posted on the beauty of it when you attend. :bowdown2:
