My friend Dan needs help

Hello

Dear brothers & sisters in Christ…catholic.com is my favourite website and Catholic Answers a staple diet of my week even here in the UK. ( I listen on the Internet)

I ask you from the bottom of my heart to pray for me (feeling rock bottom) but more importantly to pray for my close friend Dan Eley who was paralysed helping the poor and needy in Central & Latin America… he needs to come home to the UK. Lord, though I am unable financially to help, may my prayers offer up the help, so needed for this dear brother. Oh God, I pray for your tender mercies and ask you bring this man home quickly. In Christ precious Holy name I pray.

We also pray for our dear brother, please bless him richly and may he be aware of your loving embrace around his heart, his mind and his soul.

Sorry I did not read the CA Forum rules earlier re: request for donations. I understand that it is not policy…so please view this as a request for spiritual assistance through prayers, fasting etc.

Loving God I implore You to ensure that Dad receives the practical support that he needs to obtain the best medical care near his loved ones. He has been serving You in others who are in need. Please let his journey home be secured soon.
Help him to manage the calamity that has befallen him, and to find peace and happiness at home.

My son, while in England several years ago, was carer for a remarkable quadriplegic man who travelled with his carer to countries where there are many crippled by landmines, and this amazing man set up factories to turn over to the locals so that they could produce cheap strong basic wheelchairs for their own people. His disability opened for him great compassion for those similarly afflicted but less advantaged.

I pray your friend can be healed, and if not, that like this remarkable man David, can find new purpose for his life. Loving God please touch the hearts that have the power to ensure that Dan can be returned home soon.
