My friend Elba just died this morning

So many of you know that I have been asking prayers for my friend with cancer…
I signed on the computer a couple of hours ago, to a message from my pastor, telling me that Elba just passed away…He had just got home after coming from their house.
Elba leaves a husband, Joe, to whom she was happily married for nearly half a century, 2 grown sons, a daughter-in-law, 2 grandchildren, and a host of friends who will miss her deeply.
She was a great woman of prayer…Please pray for her peace, and also for her family and friends, especially Joe.
I cannot even begin to tell you what an amazing person she was…one of those people that I always felt honored to call my friend…

Prayers for the repose of Elba’s soul and for those who are grieving her loss.
 
My condolances, Zooey. May The Lord of His Great Mercy take Elba into His Eternal Peace and bring comfort and consolation to you and Joe and to all family and friends…praying for the Eternal Rest of Elba…
 
May the soul of Elba, and the souls of all the faithfully departed, rest in peace Amen
 
I have said a prayer for the soul of Elba and to all of her friends and family left behind.
