May I ask prayers for Julie S, a mother of eight, now undergoing a long period of chemotherapy for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Julie told me earlier this week but I didn’t post before I am able to inform my other close friend and her friend, face to face.

In Your mercy, Lord, be with her and her husband and children throughout this ordeal.
I entrust her body and spirit, and the outcome of her treatment, into Your love.
Bless this good and faithful woman according to Your most loving mercy, Lord.

Mother Mary I ask your loving maternal intercession for Julie and her family.

Thank You, Lord. Thank you Mother,

And thank you for your prayers.

Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place Julie under your care and humbly ask that you restore her to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.

Virgin, most holy, Mother of the Word Incarnate, Treasurer of graces, and Refuge of sinners, I fly to your motherly affection with lively faith, and I beg of you the grace ever to do the will of God.

Into your most holy hands I commit the keeping of my heart, asking you for health of soul and body, in the certain hope that you, my most loving Mother, will hear my prayer.

Into the bosom of your tender mercy, this day, every day of my life, and at the hour of my death, I commend my soul and body.

To you I entrust all my hopes and consolations, all my trials and miseries, my life and the end of my life, that all my actions may be ordered and disposed according to your will and that of your Divine Son. Amen.

Julie has always been an inspiring person of so many generous acts for her family and for community in need. She is well know to You for her love, her faith and her faithfulness. Her husband also, a good father, and a man who has served the poor and needy for many years
I know You are with Julie and her family. Please hear her prayers for her family, others, and herself, in the name of Jesus Your beloved divine Son.

Father please bestow a special blessing upon her youngest son John in this time of particular challenge.
