My friends baby was stillborn

last night my friend had some pain and was told by her doctor basically that it was nothing. Aparently it got worse and she went in anyway to the hospital despite his telling her she did not need to. they discovered the placenta had separated and they did an emergency c-section. She was over 7 months pregnant and this was a good sized baby but she did not make it. This is her second loss. I want to cry. Please say some prayers for her and her baby. Thank you.

Praying for this family as they deal with their loss as well as for Mom who carried the baby for 7 months only to be sadly separated.
 
Lord God,
ever caring and gentle
we commit to your love this little one,
quickened to life for so short a time.
Enfold him/her in eternal life.
We pray for his/her parents
who are saddened by the loss of their child.
Give them courage
and help them in their pain and grief.
May they all meet one day
in the joy and peace of your kingdom.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
