Please pray for my friend Liz and her husband Tom who has cancer throughout his body.

My friend’s husband’s Primary Cancer started in his lungs. It then spread to his bones, liver, spleen and skin. He is in hospital and they are controlling his pain really well.
He is very confused and hallucinating, but if that passes then he may be allowed home for however long he has left.He is not able to have palliative radiotherapy, because they do not feel he is strong enough to cope with it at the moment.
Hopefully if all the Doctors involved in his care are agreeable he will be allowed home sometime this week

Dear Lord please bless Liz and Tom. Please help them both in every way. Please grant them peace acceptance and inner strength. Bless Tom please Lord and prepare him for eternal life. Please grant them both strong faith and guide the doctors to help in every way possible. Thank You Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Praying for Tom to have peace & comfort as he awaits God’s embrace. Praying for his wife Liz & his family.

Prayer to St. Luke:

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Ave Maria, Gratia Plena,
Dominus tecum, Benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et Benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.

Sancta Maria, mater Dei,
Ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc
Et in hora mortis nostra.
Amen.

Lord Jesus,
Gracious Healer, Font of Mercy,
be with Tom & Liz and their whole family in these days.
Send your healing, grace, and peace.
Help them be confident in the hope they have in You.
Hold them gently.
Sing your love songs.
Make them whole.
Through the precious and holy Name of Your
Son, Jesus Christ,
Amen.

Almighty and merciful God, who hast bestowed upon mankind saving remedies and the gift of everlasting life, look graciously upon us Thy servants and comfort the souls which Thou hast made, that, in the hour of their passing, cleansed from all stain of sin, they may deserve to be presented to Thee, their Creator, by the hands of the holy angels. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you. (Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying ) Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.
