After reading the responses, and looking at the opening details, my comments are that either -
  1. We’re being fed a story to see what we’ll say and how far we’ll go before we wake up, or …
  2. The girlfriend is telling her boyfriend a made up story or …
  3. Someone is playing a cruel practical joke or …
  4. The girlfriend is schizophrenic.
It’s not demonic. It just doesn’t ring true. We’ve even got nitty gritty details like she rang at 3.39am.

Now I have had “demonic experiences” (gripping pressures in the night, tingles, the light changing and going “dark” for example). They’re miles away from this stuff.

I know this much with absolute certainty - it’s not demonic.

Hey everybody,

I am new here and want to introduce myself a little before I start with the story.
My name is Angel Warrior - Christian and I am 19 years old, Catholic for 15 years.
It is very nice to be on this forum with everyone and looking forward to talking with you.

Here is the story that I was woken up by at 3:39 in the morning by my girlfriend who is in college right now. She lives on campus.

She called me bawling her eyes out in extreme fear of what she heard and experienced during the late hours at the ceramics building. She had to stay late because she needed to finish her projects. She said at exactly 3:00. She heard chainsaw noises not in the building but all around her. Like it was in the same room with her. She was alone. She went to put her things away in the hall heard talking in the bathroom and no one was there. She heard other people laughing and no one was there. At this time I know she was probably white as a ghost. Now on the way home was absolutely terrifying. She has to walk through a woods type area and there was a man falling her. She knew it was a man and every where she went, he went. She could only see his outline in bushes. The bushes were rattling around. She was so scared that she ran into the library to lose him and she did. She also said the man disappeared before that. This happened from 3:00 - 3:15 based on my calculations from reading the times she texted and tried to call me. She said she called me 9 times and I had not received any missed calls or anything.

If anyone can share some thoughts or advice on this situation, some clarification, I would greatly appreciate your time.

Thank you so much

Angel Warrior 👍

I’m just puzzled because you essentially copied the entire OP and added “That’s interesting because” to the beginning of it.

Did you mean to say something?

No.

That’s the joke part.

All good humor has to have an element of truth, otherwise no one can identify with it.
I have a philosophical question for you…
If only one person is laughing at a joke, is it still funny?
Well, ole Clemmy, it is more of an anti-joke; lmgtfy.com/?q=anti-joke

Your response isn’t even valid. If someone doesn’t understand a joke and therefore doesn’t laugh is it still not funny?

I would appreciate it if you didn’t make off-topic attempts at humor and then harass people for being confused by it.

First and foremost pray to GOD in the name of his son JESUS for her protection from evil, and ask for discernment in your prayers. Then have her seek medical diagnosis to see if there is any physical abnormalities, and if all the tests return with a clean bill of health I would advise to continue to pray for her welfare and protection from the enemy.

We are up against powers and principalities of this world, and it has been long denied to us the simple truth… we as Christians are in a spiritual warfare; not only for ourselves, but for others. There are also practioners that align themselves with the enemy and unrighteousness, and we are to stand firm in prayer, hope and righteousness against those who are held captive.

The enemy is roaring around us like lions; seeking whom it can devour. It is wise to live wisely and adhere to following JESUS CHRIST in our daily lives. If the enemy advances against us we are to remain faithful in love.

As others have stated it would be advisable to contact campus administration and report the possibility of a person following or stalking you…better safe than sorry. As for talking to a spiritual advisor; I would be cautious as…

**1 John 4:1

New King James Version (NKJV)**

4* Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. *

Praise be to GOD the heavenly father and his son lord JESUS CHRIST forever>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I recommend she makes an appointment with a counselor at the school (most universities offer 3-5 free sessions per semester for students) so she can be screened for any possible emerging mental health issues. It’s probably just hallucinations from exhaustion, but it can’t hurt to rule out mental illness since the earlier you intervene the more manageable a condition is.

3AM is NOT the “demon’s hour.” This is a secular superstition and has nothing to do with reality. Demons are capable of being equally active at any time of the day or night.
I have read many books on the topic of exorcism, which state that 3am is the true witching hour. The demonic likes to mock the hour of Great Mercy by manifesting at this hour. I wish I could provide references, but I have read so many books on this subject and I can’t remember where I read this.

I know it is possible being familiar with paranormal manifestations, especially in the pagan , and non-believing state of some of our society. Fallen angels, evil-spirits can take human form. They can also try to dissuade people from approaching Christianity. I know a person who was a christian, and when I tried to advance her in the knowledge of her faith, she said she had horrible dreams and didn’t want to talk about it. I knew from experience how the devil uses fear, sort of like the terrorists, and those who murder to control.

Dude, for the sake of her safety, why in the heck is she walking around by herself at 3 am?!?! Especially on a college campus. That in and of itself is very dangerous for a young woman. As her boyfriend, you need to advise strongly against that. The fact she has to walk through a wooded area is even worse. She should stick to daylight hours when walking through the woods, it’s too dangerous for anyone let alone a young lady.

Now as far as it being at 3 AM and possibly a demon, I’m not gonna get into and I would suggest you guys maybe go talk to a priest and seek his counsel and leave it at that. The whole 3 AM being the demon hour is bogus superstition. Don’t put too much thought into those things, it’ll just make things worse for yourself and for her.

Try to keep in touch with her, text her throughout the day just to check up on her, let her know you care and since you can’t be there in person you can at least be there in spirit.

And as far as the man following, I’ll repeat what I said in my first sentence. Tell her to STOP walking around campus at such awful hours of the night/early morning all alone!! I’m serious!! That’s too dangerous!

I would definitely advise her to go to campus security and file a police report. That’s a scary situation. Pray for her and have her pray. Maybe have her buy a rosary from a local Catholic church, have it blessed by a priest, and have her start praying the rosary regularly.

All in all, keep praying. I’ll be praying for you and your girlfriend.

Yours in Jesus and Mary.
