My girlfriend is an Atheist

I am a Christian Catholic very 19 years old and a student at college.who grew up in a faithful Catholic family and I’m very faithful Christian I hate atheists but I respect a atheist girlfriend.I hate Christians associated with atheists but so I do this too.My girlfriend was a Catholic and became an atheist few years ago now is also 19 years old and we are student in my college too.respects my believe me unless mind sometimes that mind without hiumor.To bad thing is that we have sex and now I lost my virginity.Ι know that is sin and I do not want to do it again though My girlfriend like.She has no such problem with sex because she is atheist.Whati I must do? I love this girl so much and she love me too and I belive thath God love and the atheists even if they do not believe in Him.Ple;ase pray for me.

Why all the hate? You don’t have to agree with their beliefs but hating them for it??? Is that what Jesus taught? Hate your enemy? or was it love them?

I have a sister-in-law who is an atheist, I associate with her. Do you now hate me?

It would seem English is not the first language for the OP. Perhaps this is a translation problem.
 
English isnt my first language…I hate the most atheist who attack to my religion buti love my atheist girlfriend.What i must do?

Go to confession and don’t have premarital relations again.

If you are a devout Catholic, your atheist girlfriend might not be the best person for you to be in a relationship with. It appears that you are not following God’s law, and if you wish to, you need to have a relationship with God first. You should one day find someone that shares your faith, not that may be a problem for you to remain faithful to your beliefs.

Yes, you say you love her. But she is not the one for you if you value God. But you already know that.

If your relationship with your girl friend is based on just physical attraction and immoral sex, then you should break off your relationship.

Why is it that YOU are doing all the compromising? Why are you compromising what you believe in? If God is not in your girl friend’s life, you should take that as a warning for the sake of your salvation. Likewise, if she is pulling God out of your life, that is another warning for the sake of your salvation.

We have to “bear our crosses” Jesus tells us. If we do not acknowledge Jesus before others, He may not acknowledge us on judgment day.

You told us what was going on and asked what to do about it. Have you been trained in the Catholic faith? Do you BELIEVE in Jesus?
 
Your girlfriend is tempting you into sin.
She may be atheist but she should at least respect your Catholic beliefs.
If you have not done so already, explain what the church teaches and why you want to follow it. If she still doesn’t respect your Catholic beliefs then it may time to change the relationship.
She may be a great girl in other ways but Ignoring this red-flag may only lead you down to more conflicts in the future. The purpose of dating is to figure out if that person is someone you want to live the rest of your life with. If you can’t then it would be better to end it now and meet another girl.
 
How long have you two been dating? Your post comes off as if you are still at the infatuation stage, which is not mature love. I second all of the posters that recommend you break it off with her. It is going to hurt, but, in addition to it being a sin, sex is a super glue that holds people together. The fact that you guys have had sex is probably compromising your ability to look at your relationship objectively.

There are other fish in the sea.
 
I speak with my girlfriend she said that she can stop sex for few mounths but she want to sleep the nights with me without sex…I and my girlfriend were 19 years old ands students in college.

No, bad idea. That’s a near occasion of sin and she’s probably hoping you’ll give in to temptation. Been there.

You need to be the one to say no, we can’t do this. She is just going to keep pushing until she wears you down. And if she wants to “just” sleep with you, she is not respecting your boundaries.
 
As important as a girlfriend is, God is more important. Always put God first. This doesn’t mean dump your girlfriend, but if the choice ever is between God and her, then the choice is obvious. And you already know this. 🙂 May He give you peace with this.

You don’t seem compatible. Have you explained to her why your religion considers this to be wrong? Do you think there is a future in your relationship?

And then you will be here in two months saying, my girlfriend promised we would only sleep, but things got out of hand and now she’s pregnant.
