A good friend and co-worker of mine for more than 10 years lost her 2+ year battle with colon cancer this morning. She died peacefully in her sleep.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. 😦
May she rest in Christ’s eternal peace.

*I’m sorry to hear that:(, praying for her family, her soul, and for you, also. *

It is so very painful to lose someone we love so dearly.I am sorry for your loss your friend and yourself are in my prayers

Eternal rest grant unto her Lord
Let perpetual light shine on her
May she rest in peace
Amen

Praying for her family and friends that they have the strength to deal with their sorrow.

It’s always hard to lose a good friend. May she rest in peace. Her suffering is finished but those she left behind will continue to suffer her loss. Peace be unto you.
My dear friend of more than 50 years passed away almost two months ago. It’s still hard to believe that she’s really gone.

May the Soul of your friend find rest. Holding you and her family in my prayers.

Thank you for the prayers and kind words. I will add that this friend and co-worker was Catholic and had been able to avail herself of the Last Sacrament before the end. She was in a hospice and her children were with her as she passed on.

I feel a bit numb as I did not expect her to go so soon. When I visited her less than two weeks ago, she looked good, but week and said that the doctors had given her three to six months. She is originally from out of state and her family is taking her home and the funeral will happen there.

That is sad. I’m sorry about the loss of your good friend. I am glad she died in a peaceful way.

I’m so sorry for your loss!
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

Condolences to you and her family.

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord,
And let perpetual Light shine upon them.
May their souls
And the souls of all the faithful departed
Through the mercy of God
Rest in peace.
Amen.

Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

rpp–I’m so sorry for your loss. Prayers for you during this difficult time.

rpp,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I’ve lost family members but never a close friend, and I have to admit I just dread the idea of the loss of any of my girlfriends. May God grant her eternal rest, and may you and she one day continue your friendship in a place of everlasting joy.

God bless.

Thank you St Joseph, for interceding on behalf of rpp’s friend, allowing her a happy and peaceful passing. rpp, you’re a good man, our prayers are with you and your friend.

I am sorry for your loss.

Hail Mary, full of grace the Lord is with thee, blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen

RIP Beloved.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done,
On earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us each day, our daily bread,
And forgive us our tresspasses,
as we forgive those, who tresspass against us
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen

May God give you comfort in the loss of your friend, “rpp”. 😦 I’m so sorry to hear it.

May she rest in the arms of Jesus.

rpp,

So sorry for the loss of your friend. I lost a good friend to cancer also, 4 years ago, when she was only 43 years old. I still find myself wanting to call her & talk!! I have a Mass said for her every year around the date of her passing & always attend that Mass–it helps.

BTW, the night before my Mom died, I had a very vivid dream where my friend came to me, talked to me, told me that she was only there with me for a brief time, but she loved me. I’ve always wondered if that happened so she could let me know that she was still my friend, & stll cared for me, & that she probably knew that my Mom’s time was quickly coming.
