You might often fall into states of love: for another, for an object. You might even expect nothing from that one you fall in love with, especially regarding objects. If you should fall in love with another person, recall that it is your duty to love another as you love yourself and do not become attached because we all have our own lived history.
Regardless, keep on loving regardless of their response. You may want to rage and terrorise. You ought to feel that way. Remember, however, that God loves them more than you ever will be able to, and keep on loving. Patience, stability, dignity are the very reflection of God’s love, really, and your reward in heaven will be all the greater more for imitating Him
