My Grandfather has passed on

Hi everyone,

Johnny here. I just learned that my Grandfather passed away a little less than 2 hours ago.

His name was Willie Janes, and he was the finest man I’ve ever had the priviledge of knowing.

We’d appreciate your thoughts and prayers for our family during this sad time.

Requiscat in Pace, Grandpa. I love you so much.

So sorry to hear of your loss but the love you have for your Grandfather and his love for you will never die. Remember him always.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And may perpetual light shine upon them him. May the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

**Lord God, to your mercy we owe our forgiveness and salvation. Grant that your servant Willie who has departed from this life, may he be admitted into everlasting happiness through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all your saints.

Hear us, Lord, and send you angels from heaven to visit and protect, comfort and defend all of his family. Give them peace and understanding Lord.

When my grandfather died I hardly even cried knowing that he was in heaven with the Lord and that nothing could ever harm him ever again. Know that the same thing is true to your grandfather. You say that he was the finnest man and that is how I felt about my grandpa. God is always there to hear your prayers and he understands the stages of grief you are goint through. You can count on my prayers
 
Merciful Lord, You conceived of Mr. Janes from all eternity, and saw to his creation as an integral part of Your Divine plan. In Your mercy Lord, You have called him home. In Your loving kindness, judge him not on his sin, but rather on his faith. Most Gracious God, pour Heavenly love out upon his family and those who mourn his passing. May consoling peace be theirs, and may they take comfort that we live not for this life, but for the next. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen.

We thank you that you brought this brother of ours back and I would imagine that this man Willie Janes was a good reason for that in his own witness. Help this family to continue to offer prayers and masses for their loved one. We especially pray for all the souls in purgatory at this time that they also be granted eternal rest.
