Hi guys,
I’ve been having sporadic head pain (towards the back of my head, sometimes near my neck but usually a bit higher) all this week. It’s like a headache, but concentrated to certain areas. A few days ago it would start in the late morning and get worse at night, but it would fade throughout the day. Today, though, I sat up in bed and got slammed by it. It went away quickly, but I can still feel it hovering around, and any time I move my head too quickly, it comes back (though with less force). Sometimes it goes away entirely, but nearly always returns after maybe four, five hours. I’m beginning to get really worried, because this hasn’t happened before. I have tons of theories, ranging from simple dehydration and too much activity to after-effects from a small concussion nearly a year ago or something more serious. However it may be, I really don’t want to go to the doctor for something bogus; those who read my wisdom teeth thread know I hate wasting my family’s money. 😉 Please pray for me, that this goes away, and that it isn’t anything serious!

Praying for you. From what you say, it doesn’t sound like anything too bad, but forum rules are forum rules, so… 🙂

Sorry you’re suffering with this. I’ll pray for you and would also urge you to see a doc, just to get checked over.

Have you had your blood pressure checked? I tend to get the back of the head headaches when I forget to take my BP meds…could be sinus congestion as well…could also be I’m not a doctor so don’t know what I’m saying! Get it checked! Hope its something simple, praying for you!

Lord, We are Your people,
the sheep of Your flock.
Heal the sheep who are wounded,
Touch the sheep who are in pain,
Clean the sheep who are soiled,
Warm the lambs who are cold.
Help us to know the Father’s love
through Jesus the Shepherd
and through His Spirit.
Help us to lift up that love,
and show it all over this land.
Help us to build love on justice
and justice on love.
Help us to believe mightily,
hope joyfully,
love Divinely.
Renew us that we may renew the face of the earth.

Amen.

Maybe a tight neck muscle? Have you tried massaging it out?

As you know, medical advice on this system is disallowed.

Hopefully the pain recedes before you need to see someone. ICXC NIKA

I pray for you.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Sending you love and friendship. Feel better. XO

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Hawkmaid). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Hawkmaid’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Hail Mary,

Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,

Prayer for Headaches to St. Teresa of Avila

Dear wonderful Saint, model of fidelity to vows, you gladly carried a heavy cross following in the steps of Christ who chose to be crucified for us. You realized that God like a merciful Father chastises those whom he loves, which to worldlings seems silly indeed. Grant to Hawkmaid relief from great pains if this is in line with God’s plans. Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
