I want to thank everyone who has responded to my prayer thread. Unfortunately, Steve wants nothing to do with me. I have prayed and I know a lot of wonderful people have prayed for us, but nothing is changing. He told me again today (he is still living in our home) we are done. He wants to sell the home and get on with his life without me. I am feeling so desparate, crying and he still says with a straight face there is nothing left. I can’t understand why the Lord is not intervening. I thought God doesn’t like divorce. I am so lost and really questioning my faith. I am so hurt and let down. Why can’t some miracle come of this??

Praying for your intentions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

The Lord our God gifted us with free will. He can knock at the door of your husbands heart all day, but if he chooses not to open, the Lord would never go into his heart without permission. God would not break His own laws. Now, know that the Lord your God loves You, the same way he loves those parents of children that are ill with cancer. God loves you the same way He loves all of us right now, who are going through worse situations or illnesses. His plan for us goes beyond anything we can see or touch here, for His plan for us goes all the way into eternity. Personally, I have lost the love of my siblings and even my own mother, because I have chosen to follow the ways of the Lord. For them, I am like a stray dog, that they throw some food at, when they remember I exist. But I have chosen to live in joy and faith, for what awaits for me in heaven, is way beyond more beautiful and perfect that what I can even imagine. Even though I have no children of my own, I trust in the Lord and allow His love to fill every hole in my heart. "Love your God above “all” things, and peace will return to your soul. Do not allow your pain to consume your faith, for you are a loved and special child of God and He put us here for an experience beyond our own comprehension. When my own family turned their backs on me, I was very hurt. When my own mother told me that I was the least important child for her, my heart almost died, for I am the youngest and these people took me to church themselves, when I was a child. They took me to sunday school, to mass, etc., but now as adults they have chosen other ways of life, but the Lord has only taken me deeper into the church and His light. So you are not alone in this pain, just repeat. “Lord your Holy Will in my life, is all that I want, because I trust You, Because You love me and You are holding me right now”.
God bless you and protect you. Continue posting on this same thread. We will read into it and we will continue to pray for you and support you. You are not alone 🙂

Perhaps God has already answered you and although you do not recognize it now, your future without him may bring you far closer to Our Saviour who always appreciates and loves you.

Isn’t that nice!! My heart is broken, chewed and stepped on and I am asking God to help bring us back together and you are suggesting I am suppose to be separated from my husband who we have child together because God wants me to be closer to him??? Are you for real? I thought God hated DIVORCE. SO, I have to be lonely for the rest of my life?

i cannot even imagine how much your heart is aching.

i wish there was something that i could say to you to make your pain go away. the only thing i dare say is please, please, please don’t lose your faith in God.

in such a situation, when you feel that you have lost everything, God is still there, He is!!! He hasn’t forgotten about you. He loves you.

please be strong, hold on. i will keep you in my prayers.

God bless

Dear Lord, please comfort this grief-striken woman during this, her time of great betrayal. You know the pain of having those you love turn away from you, you know the joy of some of them returning to you, and the sorrow of others who walk away and never look back despite your faithful love and devotion. Be with Renatas. Whatever happens, please comfort and strengthen her, and help her to see her own true worth as a daughter of the King of Kings, loved endlessly by her Lord and her God. Amen.

(Renatas, I have been there. I swear to you, this is not the end of your joy in life. I know you don’t want to hear that. When a person wonders how they will get through the next ten minutes with their heart ready to explode in pain, you can’t even wrap your mind around where or what you will be a month or a year or a decade from now. Let God help you through those next ten minutes. And the ten minutes after that. And the next day. And the day after that. You are in my prayers.)

I really don’t think God is listening or really cares about my situation. This is my husband I am talking about. He no longer loves me, we have a child together and he ruined his first marriage to the point she left him for another man. Why can’t he get his act together. How can anyone want to fail at another marriage or throw in the towel because its not convenient or because marriages are so disposable. I can’t seem to get it through my thick skull how anyone would want to give up when one partner is trying so hard. It hurts so bad. I have told him for weeks how much I want it to work out and he just gives me a blank stare and says NO NO NO NO.

Here is a safe place to rage. Please, fellow posters, do not chastise her . . . :console:

Will pray for Renata and her painful situation. She’s asking for our prayers and support and I will offer her mine…

Dear renatas,

I will be going to the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel at 11:00 p.m. tonight and will remember you in prayer.

Renatas, God abandoned his own Son to the point that he said “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
Unite your feeling of abandonment with the one Christ felt when he was on the cross, in a pain much worse than your own. Know that God is a loving Father and cares for you (Even I struggle to believe this). God permits evil, so that a greater good will come. Perhaps if your husband leaves he will return to you, better and more humble. That is why the Church stresses that one cannot remarry. Your marriage is permanent and even a divorce cannot separate what God has put together. Pray for your husband knowing that God does not abandon anyone of his daughters and sons.
You have my prayers. :gopray2:
