I called S-Anon in our area and spoke to a wonderful lady. She introduced me to the term “Sexual Anorexia” and I’m going to research that. We also have a list of available meeting times now and both my husband and I will be attending support groups.
I’m feeling more hopeful!

Prayers to you. I’m sorry that you are going through this. But it sounds like your husband is a good man, he just needs some support in his time of need. Sex is not the only thing in the relationship, but I understand where you are coming from though. Sex is a part of life also. How long has he been seeing this counselor? Has there been any progress? Maybe you guys need to change counselor’s? I think that you are doing the right thing, and staying be your man. Be there for your husband, and hopefully one day he will come around. His father did major damaged to him by showing him porn. And now maybe your husband feels when he has sex with you, it reminds him of porn and being Catholic porn is not acceptable. He just has to stop seeing porn and relate your sexual life’s separate from that. I hope that everything works out and stay strong.
