My husband has "walking" pneumonia

I can’t even believe I’m writing this, as my husband has not shown symptoms of this–just a persistent dry cough…that seems to get worse at night. Please pray that my husband gets over this quickly…Today, at my constant nagging…eh hem…urging…he finally went, and they did chest xrays–and found out he has bacterial pneumonia. 😦 The good news is that it’s very treatable, no fever–and he has to take antibiotics for two weeks. The bad news is that pneumonia can go undetected for months–I am still in shock after him calling me today at work!😦

Please pray he heals soon. Thanks so much!!!

Will also pray (side note, one of the guys in our office has been coughing like that for about a week, wonder if that’s what he has)

Lord whatevergirl’s husband has pneumonia . Lord he needs you to kick this illness out of his body right now and return him to full health . Lord you are the healer I believe he is fine . I have had walking pneumonia, and I am so glad that you got him to the doctor; it is not something that should be left untreated!
Prayers for your husband, for you, and for wisdom for his doctors!!
 
I am also going to pray in thanksgiving that it was diagnosed and is being treated. May he recovery uneventfully, no setbacks either.

Thank you for your heartfelt prayers everyone–he and I appreciate them. He said last night, that all of the vitamins, etc that I have him taking ‘didn’t help.’:rolleyes: I said, hello…you could have landed in the hospital–you have been working, etc and only have this nagging cough! I would highly recommend taking probiotic drinks…it puts good bacteria into your immune system (70% of that lies within our digestive tracts) as I have been (knock on wood) pretty healthy during a very fierce flu season here…with a few things but nothing major.
