Dear Seagal,
I just wanted to respond to the question you had about talking with our loved ones who have passed on. I could not come close to some of the dear people who have posted here with such beautiful messages, but my little encouragement I offer just the same.
One of the most difficult deaths I have experienced was the passing of a dear friend and priest who was like a father/brother to me. I started talking to him immediately after he died. I would joke that I didn’t even let him rest for two minutes before I started! But,really, because of the bond that was there, I knew he would welcome my prayers and conversation, and requests for prayer! It is said that the souls cannot pray for themselves, but only for others. I also recommend the Divine Mercy Chaplet. It is said to be very beneficial for the holy souls. It also is very beneficial for us who are still here; the actual content of the prayer, and the fact that we are helping our deceased loved ones.
God Bless you, and I hope your move went smoothly.
In Christ
Peace,
Kelly
