I am in the video games industry in Los Angeles in the production capacity (I know, a bit of an odd industry for a Christian – but I was in it years before I came back into the Church). I think i am to be laid off as a result of the Activision Blizzard merger. It was not completely unexpected and I have some severance as mentioned but I am hoping to use this as an opportunity to get a job on a project that is a bit more “clean cut.” I should be okay but I don’t want to be presumptuous about the situation so the prayers will help.

I was recently reminded when I saw another who lost his job recently and then another who was thanking the praying people here – I was reminded that I made this back in July when my lay-off was coming.

As I mentioned in my other post: I want to say a huge thanks to all who prayed for me and a huge thanks to our Lord and God.

Not only did I get a new job, with a decent company, but I also got a nice raise of about 15% and I am working on a game based on a Christian-themed property!

Thank you all and thank you GOD!😃
