They also have a fabulous socioeconmic plan of supporting Planned Parenthood which murders babies for profit and then puts that profit back into the pockets of Democrat politicians so they can retain power. How this helps blacks in cities such as Philadelphia where approximately 50% of their babies are put to death, I haven’t quite figured out.
Surely, you are aware that a woman can have an abortion via Health Care plans such as Kaiser and Blue Cross. If Planned Parenthood is doing it for profit, so are these insurance plans…

Where’s the outrage? Or is PP just an easier target?

Again Link please, your stats are bogus. If I were to say, **" In Beverly Hills, approximately 50% of white babies are put to death in clean private clinics." ** No one would believe me. If you play the race card, back it up with facts not fiction.

Yes, yes, I know who Sanger is… Give me some facts about the 50% of Black babies put to death in Philly.

Is that for all sins?
How could it not be? I mean, you left out a lot of the qualifiers, but the very notion of punishment for sin is connected to the idea of knowing and understanding.

I know it makes some people crazy that in the end they don’t get to judge others; but they don’t.

Is it still a mortal sin for me to have voted for John Kerry? It doesn’t look like GWB is going to appoint the appropriate activist judges who will overturn Roe v. Wade. It seems to me that a vote for GWB can no longer be considered morally superior to a vote for JK - if anything, it is now a morally inferior vote, since Kerry wouldn’t have the blood on his hands from an unnecessary war**. All those people who consulted those “Voting Guides for Right-thinking Catholics” in order to know what they needed to think and do were duped by ole George, no**?
These voter’s guide presented the issues that are always intrinsically evil by there very nature:mad:

I voted for Kerry too. I don’t think it was a mortal sin. And if it was, then it has to be an even bigger one to vote for someone who lies and says they are something that they are not
The soul cries out for justice immediately as it is separated from the chopped up body of the infant.

Kerry openly promoted increased funding, access, and legalization of the hideous procedure that mock’s God’s authorship of life. In fact, he said he would not appoint a Supreme Court justice unless they were pro-“choice”.

I am sickened that anyone would think it be a good alternative to vote for someone that actually openly serves the father of lies, and, at the same time, claims to be a member of the Catholic Church.

I have repented from this grave mortal sin and believe that God in his mercy has forgiven me!
Praise God. God is good all the time. God bless you.

It is Planned Parenthood’s modue operandi. It is their cash cow. It is there reason for existance. They are aligned directly against God and mock his plan for life. They promote sexual deviancy to children through schools, girl scouts, and sexual “tips” aimed directly at adolescents. They protect rapists by not reporting them. They are a sick and deviant organization that needs to be shut down. They fill the Democrat’s pockets.

As far as health plans that fund abortion, shame on them. It is disgusting and repulsive that they do so when the costs of delivering babies keep going up. They are not free from their dirty deeds either.

Why do your presume fiction? Are the facts too difficult to bear? Are they too disruptive to fhe fallacy that the Democrats are on the side of African Americans? It is indeed difficult to say you are helping them when you work hand in hand to support the killing of their young.

Abortion: An African American Holocaust

Let us not forget what the founder of Planned Parenthood said:

We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population

Play the race card indeed! This is not about politics. This is about saving lives and loving all our brothers and sisters.

Bella, may I ask where you personally stand on abortion?
I know a great web site you can go to for lots of facts
www.priestsforlife.org
Kerry believed that it was alright to abort a baby, PP is the biggest abortion provider in the world and if you read or listened to anything before the elections you would have been able to see and hear exactly where both men stood. I saw and heard and that is why Kerry didn’t get my vote.

More on overall abortion in the US:

It has been estimated that since 1973 black women have had about 10 million abortions. Michael Novak had calculated "Since the number of current living blacks (in the U.S.) is 31 million, the missing 10 million represents and enormous loss for, without abortion, America’s black community would now number 41 million persons. It would be 35% larger than it is

cfam.org watch dogs at the UN.
One of the posters on this web site state that 3 out of every 5 black babies are aborted. Black Genocide.com
Lifenews.com . All of these web sites will tell you the facts. The Democrat party talking points will not tell you the truth because they don’t know the Truth. The Truth is not a something it is a someone. You are so angry I wonder if your anger comes from the same place that my anger came from before I was forgiven. Mine was from my own guilt at my own abortion. Most women who have had abortions are some of the rabidly pro-choice because they don’t want to deal with act that they committed. If this is the case don’t stay in that pain. Find out about Rachael’s Vineyard post-abortion relief.

Sorry, I guess I should have asked for CREDIBLE LINKS…

“Negro” population… Yeah that’s a good one.

Does anyone keep track of the abortions done in places like Beverly Hills?

Frankly it does not matter Bella! Abortion needs to stop wherever it is found!

Yeah, that’s a good one?! That is from Margaret Sanger–the founder of Planned Barrenhood. I had to read her writings in school. She loathed and despised “Negros”, the poor and anyone she considered “mentally unfit”

I would argue many people know what they are doing is wrong or don’t care, but choose to do it nonetheless. It’s the “I’ll do what I want, I’ll do what I want” mantra. Full knowledge does not require knowledge of every mortal sin in the book (whereas the individual might know something is sinful, but did not know it was a grave matter). Nor does it require accepting whether an act is sinful or not.

From paragraph 1859 of the CCC:
(Full knowledge) presupposes knowledge of the sinful character of the act, of its opposition to God’s law.
What the Catechism says about feigned ignorance is important. Often times people refuse to investigate something or to look at evidence concerning what God wants of them in an attempt to “protect themselves” from knowing, and thus being obligated to do, something they don’t want to do. In such cases, one is feigning ignorance rather than investigating the matter as one should. Only unintentional
ignorance diminishes one’s accountability for sin:

1860 Unintentional ignorance can diminish or even remove the imputability of a grave offense. But no one is deemed to be ignorant of the principles of the moral law, which are written in the conscience of every man.

http://www.cin.org/users/James/questions/q126.htm

One poster appears to admit he knew of the sinful nature of voting for pro-abortion candidates, but seemed to laugh it off as not true. That is full knowledge. This may be confusing to many… you do not need to accept the full knowledge, to fulfil the “full knowledge” of clause of mortal sins.

To take the “intentional ignorance” easy way out is to put yourself in opposition to Truth. Meaning, you do not want to seek Truth and thus seek God. I’ll tell you it is awful hard to live forever with God, if throughout your life and on your death bed, you are in opposition to Truth. It is not something I recommend.

An example of “unintentional ignorance” is someone who throughout their whole life was completely ignorant about the one-hour fast before communion. All the while, this person ate right before going to mass.

ProAbortion Democrat or PLINO Republican = same thing. At least Kerry was man enough to say where he stood in this issue. Bush is the master pretender, who has no problem lying when he gets caught. When he finds the WMD’s, then I will believe that he is pro-life. He won’t find one and he will never be the other.
This is an Ad Hominem attack against Bush, you have no access to his inner person. All we got from Kerry was, “I personally am against abortion, but if a women…blah, blah, blah…”

If pro-abortion democrat=PLINO (whatever that means) republican, what does that make you?

Peace

It does matter. Stopping abortion in certain parts of town, and letting it continue in others is just wrong.

Politicians (not just Sen. Kerry) who profess to be a Catholic and then make political decisions that are in defiance of church teaching reflect poorly on the Catholic Church as a whole and set a bad example for young members and converts.

While no one politician can reverse Roe v Wade, if enough pro-life politicians are elected it can be overturned. First, and foremost, the RIGHT case has to be brought before the SCOUS and then decisions can be made that the original ruling in R v W was incorrrectly made. The liberals, of whatever party, are depending on the SCOTUS to make law of things they could not get past both houses of Congress i.e. activist courts that come down with some of these outrageous decisions we have had.

I didn’t reas all the way thru this, but the OP made a comment about JK not having blood on his hands from the war.

What was GWB supposed to do? Put the welcome mat out for the terrorists and say" Yeah, sure, you can fly plane full of innocent men women and children into buildings filled with yet more innocent people and we will do nothing about it." I don’t think so. THis war is so complicated, it is not soething that can be easily dismissed as “unneccessary”. If a country is willing to harbor mass murders, then they are no better than the murderers. There are rules and there are “manners” to being in power of a country, and sometimes talking just doens’t get anything done. Oooh, I’m way to steamed to type any more so I will stop there.

I supported wholeheartedly John Kerry because I do not believe Republicans are sincerely pro-Life or will make abortion illegal.
That makes sense. “I’m against abortion, so I’ll vote for the presidential candidate who promised to (a) appoint only pro-abortion justices and (b) use federal monies to directly pay for abortions.”

The Church says that WE get to weigh the issues; that obviously some are of grave concern and others are quite minor. And, we are under no moral obligation to vote strictly on a single issue like abortion.
