My lost aunt

Hi guys; I don’t know much, but my unstable aunt a continent over has gone missing. Her 13 year old son called to let my grandparents know, but we haven’t heard word one since then. She’s a single parent, so both she and her son aren’t very safe at the moment. Please keep them both in your prayers; she’s threatened suicide before, and it’s really scary, especially for her poor son. St. Jude, St. Peregrine, St. Anthony, St. Augustine, St. Dymphna, St. Martha, St. Lucy, St. John, St. Joseph, St. Anne, pray for us!!!

Praying your aunt and her son will be found quickly and soon. Also praying for your aunt to find the help she needs to rid her of suicidal thoughts and ideations and live a safe, fulfilling life.

A Prayer for The Missing

O, Blessed Mother and St Joseph,
you searched when Your Son Jesus
disappeared when he was 12. You
would not give up until He was found.

You know the pain of having someone
missing, and the joy of finding them,
as you found Your Son. Help those
who are searching for Hawkmaid’s
aunt and nephew.

Inspire people to be vigilant, so they may
see and hear news that will bring hope.
Comfort those who feel lonely and sad
because the one they love has vanished.
Be with them in the storm and guide them
in their efforts.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

A Prayer for the Mentally Ill

Loving God, You are always near
to us, especially when we are weak,
suffering, and vulnerable. Please
reach out to those who experience
mental illness. Lift their burdens,
calm their anxiety, and quiet their fears.
Surround them with Your healing
presence so that they may know
that they are not alone. We ask

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Hawkmaid’s aunt). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Hawkmaid’s aunt’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
