A backstory, then the prayer request.

My current Manager is a Catholic, but does not practice. He is soon to be wed and he is not happy with his job or certain aspects stemming from his employment. His grandmother’s health is not the best, which is the woman who raised him and with whom he still lives.

He fell away from going to church, but maintains the fact he is Catholic. I have made offers to have him come with me to Mass, but he did not respond. So I have been praying for him to find happiness, a job he will be happy in, and a return to the Church.

The staff is more like a family than employees, and I pray the rosary with the intention that he will return to the Church. I know that if he returns to the Church he will find the motivation to be happy.

I am asking everyone to pray for him.

Dear St. Monica,
troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practising Catholics
and those discerning conversion to Catholicism,
for our families, including mine, for increase of faith for us,
especially all in this thread. Amen.
 
Heavenly Father, I honour You for this good man who runs his business in a Christian spirit. Please draw his heart and mind back to the faith he professes, knowing that the right time and state is known only to you. Bless our friend’s intercessions for him and let them bear fruit at the time You deem according to Your knowledge of him.

Please help this manager to give his heart to You and to allow Your blessings into his personal life. Please bless and heal his grandmother who has also been his mother.
