Thanks be to God for reuniting our friend Teresa with her husband! In your goodness Lord, you have brought her husband home where he belongs. I pray that they will be strong and never part from each other again, but continue to grow in their love for one another. May they remain a united front against their son until which time he sees the error of his ways and faces his problem and responsibilities as an adult would, and not as a child. Please allow Teresa and John some peace in their busy and complicated lives. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

My God, I believe most firmly that you watch over all who hope in you, and that we can want for nothing when we rely upon you in all things. Therefore I am resolved for the future… to cast all my cares upon you…

Your pleadings with your divine Spouse are irresistible, so please obtain for **Teresa ** from our risen Jesus the request I make of you. Be kind to her for the greater glory of God, and we shall honor you and sing your praises forever. Glorious Saint Rita, you miraculously participated in the sorrowful passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Obtain for her now the grace to suffer with resignation the troubles of this life, and protect her in all her needs.

O St. Rita,
Make us understand that a vocation is not only a matter of attraction.
Enable us to see clearly that it is also a matter of finding, in ordinary events, God’s will for us and then accepting it even if it seems to be baffling and contrary to our wishes.
Teach those called to the marriage state by the Lord to reflect deeply on the delicate choice that will influence their destiny.
Let them not be deceived by their feelings; instead, let them look for the solid qualities that keep a home united in the joy of the Lord.
Teach unhappy spouses the power of patience and mildness. Let them not give way to discouragement but, like you, let them save both the happiness of their home and the soul of their spouse.
O St. Rita, we pray this through your name and in the name of Jesus Christ.

Most Merciful and Loving God, I pray you will work your mighty hand in our dear friends marriage, to heal it and make it better than ever before. I pray you will give them the grace to parent this troubled son, and the strength to be in this hand and hand. I pray that you would touch this son’s life with your mercy and message, so that he makes better choices for himself. God of All Power and Glory, we call upon you to keep dear Teresa in your loving care. Please bless and protect her always…
