Thank you for your advice. Today is our first session with a counselor. He told me he is only able to express himself if we had a third party. I have a tendency of not responding too well when I do not hear what I would like to hear which is why he prefers to say what he has to say with a counselor. Today will be the day I will hopefully be able to hear what is thoughts are and his feelings. I’m taking my rosary with me, holding it in my hands and listen to what he has to say. I hope I can at least get clarity and hope we can move forward. These past few days have been he!!. When we went out yesterday after my children and I got home from church he was talking about things he wanted to do with me and our family. I’m so confused. I’m frustrated, depressed, everything. I will be meeting with my priest this week by myself and hopefully it will help me. Please keep me in your prayers.
You remain in my prayers. I hope today’s session went real well for you and will help get things more bearable. God bless, and take care.

Our counseling session went O.K. Our counselor wants to see us by ourselves next and than together again. In the mean time we will continue to respect each other and go about our day. I suppose because my husband is agreeing to continue the process is a good sign. I have no idea.

Very glad the session went okay. Try to just take it one day at a time if you can. It really does sound like a very good sign that your husband is continuing the counseling process. And talking to a Priest will definitely help you yourself. Prayers continue for you.

When he got home from work, I started a conversation with him. I asked him how his day went then after dinner I started to tell him how I was feeling. I started to cry. He appeared to be very mad. I feel like I am losing a battle. I know this is still fresh and I know it will take time. Maybe I shouldn’t have started a conversation with him and just let things be the way they have been.I have no idea on what to do!!! I am clueless!!!

Do I talk to him? Do I not talk to him? Do I just keep it very brief like when he asks me questions or I ask him questions? What do I do? I am giving him his space, should I give him more space? This is HARD. I feel as if I am going through he!!.

I can only recommend what I did in the beginning when things were real rough between my husband and I, so I’m not sure what would work for you. I spoke very little to my husband… only what needed to be said in the day-to-day running of the home. I tried to be as cordial as possible taking the WWJD approach. I think we both needed our space for several weeks at least, but every marriage is different. It’s definitely not easy, but as each day and week passes along with counseling and talking to the Priest, it should improve a lot. I pray it does for you.

I will continue to be cordial and respect my husband. I believe we both need our space and it is best we give each other space, continue counseling and take it one day at a time. I will continue to pray. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers. Please continue to do so.
