Hi everyone,

If you would, please pray for my mom and my baby. My husband and I have our first baby–now almost four months old. 🙂

I just had to go back to work a couple of weeks ago and my mom had joyfully volunteered to watch the baby while I’m at work. She seems to be enjoying it and the baby seems to be doing so well with her and they are buddies. I just hope and pray that this will work out in the long run because I’d much rather have the baby at Grandma’s house, in Grandma’s care than in daycare. However, mom has emphysema (but she gets around just fine, not on oxygen or anything like that). So if you would, please pray for my mom to stay healthy, and if it’s God’s will to continue to be able to enjoy being with the baby while I’m at work. I think he’s in the best place (Barring a miracle, I can’t afford to be a stay-at-home mom or I would.)

Many, many thanks everyone!!

Nothing like the care of a grandmother…God Bless your family.

I agree, grandma is the better care giver than a daycare place. I will pray that your mother stay healthy enough to care for your baby as long as she can.

Dear mother, I can understand you wanting your Mom to be the person who cares for your baby while you’re at work.
I ask God that she can remain healthy and able to care for your child.
God bless your family always…Trishie

My mother kept my oldest daughter for the first two years of her life. It was a wonderful experience for me, mom, and the baby. I’m praying for your mom!

God Bless!

Praying for your Mom to stay healthy for a long, long time. :byzsoc:

I know the comfort leaving your child with Grandma brings. I have prayed.

Praying your mom will stay healthy and continue to be able to care for your baby. :crossrc:

How wonderfully blessed you are to have such a mom. My own mom helps me, too… although not with a child but with my husband. She is 83 years old (with some problems of her own) and yet helps me cope with his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and help care for him. I was fired a week ago for missing too much work (I guess this is why…they just said I did not fit in)…My mom lives with us and I don’t know what I would do without her.
May God Bless your family always…and good luck with your job…May God keep you free from stress and worry. Your sister in Christ, Diane

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
