My Mom.. Please

Please, I need people to pray for my mother. She adopted me when I was first born. She already had 3 kids prior. When she adopted me she also had to take my brother and sister. She then adopted my little sister. That was 18 years ago. Now that I’m 18, she’s 64. She’s been complaining about severe bone pain and her doctors don’t know what it is. She can’t afford MRI’s and CT scans. I’m terrified that it’s something really serious. I’m fragile… in my mind. She’s always been there for me, our dad left us. I’ve lost so much and have become depressed, hiding it from others to not worry them. She’s the only thing I have left… my best friend. Please… pray for her she’s been unwell… please.

OP, your mother needs to continue to be under a doctors care. Please encourage her to go. Perhaps someone here can assist you in ways to get help. Speak to your parish office. They may be able to get you in touch with resources to help. Do the legwork for your mom and make some calls.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (LostSoulOfAGirl’s Mother). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into LostSoulOfAGirl’s Mother body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

May your mom feel better and may the bone pain go away… I will remember your post when I say my rosary… I know how it is to need an MRI and not be able to afford it… I’m also in that boat… what I do…When things are like that-- I ask Jesus and Our Lady to be my doctor and to doctor my pains and health worries… I will keep your mom in my prayers. I hope it’s nothing serious.
