I know this isn’t as serious as most of the requests your receive, but please pray for my mom who is converting to the Catholic faith, and who has always leaned towards agnosticism. I have fallen short in prayer. I know I’ve asked this before, and am sorry for bugging everyone about it. Thank you so much in advance and God Bless! Ben

There’s no honest prayer that is “not serious”, Ben!
Your ‘fallen short’ prayer - if you call it like that - will be compensated by the Angels in Heaven and by us here at CAF 😉

God, come with your Holy Spirit, please help Ben’s mother to convert to your Holy Church.

Use Ben as an instrument of your voice; and bring other people on their way to show the Way to You, fountain of Holiness.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us;
St. Joseph, Patron of the Church, pray for us;
St. Gabriel, who brought the Good Message to us all, pray for us;
St. Thomas the Apostle, who did not believe but ‘saw and believed’, pray for us;
St. Francis of Assisi, who reached so many people in miraculous ways, pray for us;
St. John Paul II, Saint of the new Evangelization, pray for us;
Blessed Theresa of Calcutta, who experienced ‘dry’ periods but kept finding you, pray for us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we put our trust in You.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Prayer for Those Entering the Church

Lord, may they be welcomed with joy and thanksgivings
into the folds of Your Holy Catholic Church.
Be their Light in times of trial and darkness;
their guide in a new life of Truth.
Provide for them holy men and women
to support the growth of their faith.
Grant that their gifts be shared to
produce abundant fruits for Your Glory.
Amen.

PATER NOSTER,
qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo. Amen
