I’m posting this here because you are the friends I’ve interacted with over the last few years. My mom, Rose Marie, passed away this morning about 10:15. She was a beautiful person who knew no strangers and always shared Jesus in action and words. Please keep my family in your prayers as we struggle to go on with our lives without her here. May God, thru Christ, continue to bless all of you.

Rita, my sincere condolences for you. My own mother passed away just 7 weeks ago, so I understand.

It’s been a very primal experience for me. Seismic shift in my life. Be kind to yourself

You and your family will be in our prayers. I pray you will find comfort knowing that all who fall asleep in Christ will rise with Him.

I am so sorry Rita. There is no way to prepare for the loss of a parent and my heart hurts for you. I pray for your mom and for your family, that you will find consolation celebrating the wonderful things your mom said and did, and also in trusting in the love and mercy of our Heavenly Father.

Eternal rest grant her, O Lord
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed,
Through the mercy of God,
Rest in peace.
Amen.

May your mom rejoice forever in God’s presence,
and may her loved ones be comforted.
 
It is so hard losing your mother. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon them.
